Overview
—> MiMaizey, part of the University of Michigan’s ITS AI services, is an AI-powered chatbot designed to enhance the student experience. Developed as a project for SI 307 - Introduction to User Experience Design, it seamlessly integrates into Canvas to offer personalized support. MiMaizey helps students navigate academic resources, find answers to common questions, and access campus services, all while ensuring privacy and security.
Problem Statement
—> Students rely on MiMaizey, an AI-powered tool for accessing course content, resources, and support, but face challenges due to a lack of quick prompts, essential navigation tools, past chats, and customizable settings, resulting in a time-consuming and less effective experience.

The process
Design Brief ->
Low Fidelity Wireframes ->
These wireframes address the problem of a lack of clarity and guidance for users by introducing student-focused prompts, such as 'Find Course Info!' and 'Study Resources!'. They also introduce a sleek and minimal interface to improve usability and provide a welcoming experience for students across both desktop and mobile platforms.
